Rocky-I’m so glad Carolyn sent you the pillow kit! The green yarn is just gorgeous!

You are right-I was quite sad to learn that your spoilee fell off the face of the earth! Sadly, her spoilee got the worst part in not getting a package!

Based on the fact she was in communication with you, I would think maybe something sudden came up cuz if she had just joined to score free stuff, I’d think she wouldn’t have had the nerve to be in touch with you so often up to the 29th. Hopefully she will come through afterall.

I haven’t participated in many swaps in the knitting world; used to do a lot when I was stamping. I think it’s because I don’t like the pressure of getting stuff together by a deadline-I always like to hand-make a card and write a nice note, do lots of little ‘detail-y’ stuff and am always way more ambitious-then have to bust my butt to get it out! Actually, a good motivator, since I have been so late in getting ’surprise’ packages out, that they really do become ’surprises’. (For example, a friend has a birthday in February-I only sent a package I had been putting together for her out last week!-lol!)
